Weebly’s image galleries are limited so I’ve created image galleries on 4 different pages in my weebly site using simpleviewer pro. After creating the galleries I embedded the code into my site using the custom html feature.

I uploaded the simpleviewer files and images to the root directory on my domain and while editing my site in weebly and using the weebly address (charleswish.weebly.com) I had no issue displaying and viewing the galleries.

I have a weebly pro account so once I went live with my site using my domain name (creating the two A records to direct to weebly’s ip address) the galleries disappeared from my site and I cannot get them to appear. The code is still on the page but the space that once contained the gallery is now blank.

I’ve contacted simpleviewer support- they’ve been very helpful but unable to resolve the issue. Since the A record points to weebly’s ip address as the host how can I keep the files on my domain and still have away for the code to find them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated– an artist’s website is useless if you can’t view their work.

Script location does not seem to be right. There is no public_html … in weebly. To embed simpleviewer image slider you will need to provide the folder location and script location correctly. Either you can upload all the required files in weebly by going to Edit HTML/CSS and “Add New Files”. Add all necessary files and script there. Make sure the location for file paths is charleswish.com/files/theme/your-file-name. If you have files at an external location, provide the appropriate location in src.

there are quite a few files that would need to be uploaded via the HTML/CCS on weebly– is there a way to create folders?

Weebly does not allow you to create folders.
